BEIRUT: The first relief plane of the Saudi air bridge organized by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) arrived on Sunday at Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport in Lebanon, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The SPA reported that the plane carried relief supplies, including shelter, food, and medical items, in accordance with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The SPA reported that this assistance aims to alleviate the suffering of the Lebanese people. It is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) ongoing support for various Lebanese humanitarian and relief sectors, and is in keeping with the significant humanitarian role that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) plays through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, in aiding nations in times of crises, the SPA reported.
