ISLAMABAD: Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Program Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan has announced that first Hockey League in Pakistan will be held for the revival of the glory of the country’s national game. He said that Prime Minister’s Sports Talent Hunt program will also be started to provide opportunities to the new generation to show their talent and they would be provided state of the art training facilities.
Rana Mashhood said that around ten sports academies for Hockey, cricket, Volleyball, Football, and other games would be set up to provide opportunities to the youth to shine Pakistan’s name worldwide.
He stated that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had issued directives to revive past glory of Pakistan’s national game and as a result of which after 13 years Pakistan Hockey team reached in the final of a global event. He said Pakistan’s hockey players are being invited by international Hockey clubs and they were ready to leave for Australia to join club there.
