DUBAI: A month-long display of light and colour will light up skies across Dubai from today (Friday), with four weeks of firework displays across the city including spectacular New Year’s Eve pyrotechnic displays and record-breaking drone shows.
The DSF Fireworks Nights, part of the Dubai Shopping Festival, will grace the skies over four iconic Dubai destinations until January 14, 2024.
The luminosity begins at Dubai Festival City Mall, where the skies will come alive at 9 pm every evening from December 15 to 24. Transitioning to the heart of the city at Al Seef, residents can experience breathtaking fireworks from December 25 to January 4, illuminating the night at 9 pm. Wander through the historic streets to uncover uplifting messages in neon, complemented by the Dubai Lights: Dubai Neon light installation, featuring 40 neon-lit abras sailing across the creek.
In sync with the DSF, escape to the picturesque mountains of Hatta, where Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings until December 31 will be painted with fireworks as part of the Hatta Festival. Dazzling displays are scheduled for December 15-17, 22-24, and 29-30, starting at 8 pm.
Bid farewell to the year in elegance at Bluewaters, The Beach, JBR, Al Seef, and Hatta, as each location hosts a special midnight display at 11:59 pm on December 31. Extend the excitement into the beginning of 2024 at Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR, with nightly fireworks at 9 pm from January 5 to 14.
