Finance Minister Dar Hosts Farewell in Honor of Outgoing Chinese Ambassador

ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar hosted a farewell lunch here on Tuesday on behalf of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in honor of outgoing Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Nong Rong.

The finance minister appreciated the ambassador’s contributions in enhancing and cementing the decades-old brotherly ties between both countries and facilitating Chinese government’s all out support to Pakistan, finance ministry tweeted.

The finance minister extended best wishes of the prime minister to Nong Rong and prayed for his future endeavors.

Minister Dar for enhancing Pak-China relations

The finance minister also reiterated Pakistan’s resilience about the long-lasting and ever-green friendly relations between the two countries and hoped representatives and leadership of both countries will leave no stone unturned to take the friendly relations to new heights.

A couple of days before, the outgoing Chinse envoy also met the Speaker National Assembly where both dignitaries agreed to further enhance the friendly ties in the year 2023 and in the future.
