ISLAMABAD: The International Hockey Federation (FIH)  match schedules for the Paris 2024 hockey Olympic tournaments is set to take place on March 6 at the Olympic House in Lausanne, with IOC President Thomas Bach and FIH President Tayyab Ikram leading the event.

The historic Yves-du-Manoir Stadium in Colombes, near Paris, will serve as the venue for the hockey tournaments of the XXXIII Olympiad. This stadium holds significant Olympic heritage, having been an arena for the 1924 Olympic Games.

Twelve men’s and twelve women’s national teams will compete fiercely for the prestigious Olympic medals in what promises to be an exhilarating showcase of elite hockey talent.

FIH President Tayyab Ikram expressed his gratitude to President Bach for his presence at this pivotal event leading up to Paris 2024. This convergence of hockey stakeholders underscores the excitement and anticipation surrounding the upcoming Olympic tournament.

With meticulous planning and preparation, the FIH is poised to deliver a spectacular event in Paris, showcasing the best of international hockey talent and celebrating the sport’s rich Olympic legacy.
