FIFA World Cup 2022: France Beat Denmark 2-1

ISLAMABAD: In the FIFA World Cup football’s Group D match between France and Denmark, the French side defeated the Danish side 2-1 at Qatar’s Stadium 974, Ras Abou Aboud.

With this win, France has now got six points and has qualified for the second round.

While the Danish players had a 53 percent ball possession rate as opposed to France’s 48 percent, they failed to materialize on it as the French midfield and defensive play thwarted Denmark’s moves.

France scored in the 61’ via Kylian Mbappe with Denmark equalizing it in the 68’ when Andreas Christensen netted the ball. In Kylian Mbappe scored the second goal.

Now all Group D teams have played two matches with Australia at second with three points, and Denmark and Tunisia both with a single match.
