ISLAMABAD: In the FIFA World Cup 2022’s Group F match Croatia held world number two Belgium to a goalless draw at Qatar’s Ahmed bin Ali Stadium. With the tie, the Balkans advance while the European powerhouse Belgium failed to reach the first knockout stage.

Croatia Hold Belgium to Goalless Draw

In a tightly contested match, Belgium had a ball possession of 52 percent against 48 percent for Croatin. Belgian players targeted the goal with 16 shots against Croatin’s 11 with 4 and 3 shots on target for both sides respectively.

With the stalemate till the end of the match, the winners of the other Group F match Morocco along with Croatin advanced into the second round.
