DOHA: Croatia came from a goal down to hammer Canada 4-1 in a Group F match of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
With the defeat, Canada was eliminated from the FIFA World Cup 2022 race. Canada had also lost their first game of the World Cup to Belgium.
Lovro Majer put the last nail in the coffin as Croatia secured victory by 4-1 against Canada, who are now out of the Round of 16 race.

Striker Kramaric equalized for Croatia after Alphonso Davies had put Canada up during the first two minutes of the game.
Minutes before the break, Marco Livaja made it 2-1 to Croatia. In the second half, Kramaric completed his brace, before substitute player Lovra Majer scored in injury time. He made the scoreline more flattering for the 2018 World Cup runner-ups.
