DOHA: The influential Brazilian sports personality Carter Batista, who is in Qatar for FIFA World Cup 2022, recently visited a mosque in Doha and found himself overwhelmed by the sense of spiritual strength from the call to prayer, Azaan, in the mosque.

“I was standing outside a mosque in Doha when I wrote the caption, Azaan Sunny. According to Islamic tradition, the call to prayer is repeated 5 times daily to encourage Muslims to pray and pray. This was the best thing I did here in Qatar. I watched, and it impressed me enormously,” he wrote in a post on Twitter.
