FIFA Club World Cup: Saudi Arabia Promises Outstanding Experience

JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Sport and President of the Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal has vowed to deliver an outstanding experience for football fans at FIFA Club World Cup in Jeddah, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.

Saudi Arabia is hosting the international mega event for the first time from December 12 to 22, featuring seven teams from six continental regions.

The minister of sport in a statement said that Saudi Arabia is extremely delighted to host the FIFA Club World Cup on its soil for the first time, which shows the remarkable progress of great Saudi nation.

He further said that Saudi Arabia has been transformed into a preferred international destination for athletes and a hub for organizing mega sports events.

The minister attributed this development to the unwavering support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

He warmly welcomed all participating teams and sports fans from around the world, highlighting Saudi Arabis commitment to providing football fans with an extraordinary experience.
