Lionel Messi’s side had been unable to deal with Wojciech Szczesny in the opening 45 minutes in which he saved his second penalty of the FIFA world cup. Poland’s team offered a little attacking threat to Argentina, with striker Robert Lewandowski.

Szczesny took center stage during the game and saved a Messi penalty.

On the other hand, Mac Allister scored a goal against Poland in today’s match. He added that they tried to remain positive after Szczesny stopped Messi’s penalty. He said that, fortunately, they managed to win the game.

It may be recalled that Lionel Messi was taking part in his 22nd match at the FIFA World Cup and the 999th of his career. Poland also qualified for the next knockout round due to a goal difference over Mexico.
