LAKKI MARWAT: A senior official of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) was shot dead in the Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa here on Saturday.
FIA Deputy Director Inamullah Khan of Dera Ismail Khan region was gunned down in the Tajazai area in the jurisdiction of the Ghaznikhel Police Station.
Federal Investigation Agency Official confided that Inamullah Khan was spending holidays in his village in Tajahzai.
Police investigating attack on FIA officer
Lakki Marwat Police said they are investigating the matter and it would be premature to comment about the killing.
Inamullah was regarded as an honest and efficient officer of Federal Investigation Agency as he had carried out numerous major Federal Investigation Agency operations in Dera Ismail Khan.
Police shifted the dead body of Inamullah to the district headquarters hospital in Lakki Marwat.
