ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet Monday urged President Arif Alvi to sign the ‘Supreme Court Practice & Procedure Act 2023’ so that the nation could be taken out of the political and constitutional crisis.
According to APP, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presided over the special meeting of the cabinet held at the PM House in Islamabad.

Federal Minister for Law Azam Nazeer Tarar and Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan briefed the federal cabinet on different legal issues.
The federal cabinet also examined the matter of issuance of a circular by the Registrar SC against the order of the apex court’s bench headed by Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
The cabinet also decided to withdraw the services of the Registrar SC and ordered him to report to the Establishment Division, APP reported.
