ISLAMABAD: The matric examination under the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education will start on 27 April.
In this regard, 997 examinations and 928 practical centers have been set up countrywide.
All the preparations have been accomplished in the examination centers, including staff deployment. Examination centers have also been set up abroad under the Federal Board.
Thirty-eight overseas centers have been set up, and the examinations will be held there.
A total of 2 lahks 55 thousand 405 would appear in the examinations. Federal Board has uploaded the roll numbers of the students on its website, and students would have to get print of their roll number slips.
The Federal Board fully tries to utilize Information Technology (IT) in the examinations. A special mobile application has been developed for the student’s attendance and staff in the examination centers. Thus, it would be completely digital, and exams would be SLO based.
The matric exams will end on 20 May.

Qaiser Alam Khan, Chairman Federal Education Board, has said in a statement that the examination system of the FBISE was a good example for the entire country.
He added that the board has started using IT to make the whole process more transparent, from conducting examinations to marking papers and preparing results.
