ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) promoted twelve officers from BS-20 to BS-21 and four officers from BS-19 to BS-20 on Thursday.
Among the newly promoted officers of BS-21, an Inland Revenue Services (IRS) officer Afaque Ahmed Quershi appointed as a member (Inland Revenue Policy), FBR (HQ), Islamabad.
An officer of IR service Khurshid Ahmad Khan Marwat took the charge as member FBR Headquarters Islamabad.
Federal Board of Revenue appoints officers in provinces
The officer of Pakistan Customs Services (PCS) Abdul Majid Yousfani appointed as Member (IT), FBR (HQ), Islamabad. Another IR Services officer Nasir Iqbal appointed as Chief Commissioner -IR, Regional Tax Office, Lahore.
A PC Services officer Iftikhar Ahmad took the charge of the post of Director General, Directorate General of Transit Trade, Karachi. Another officer from the same service Muhammad Saleem is appointed as Chief Collector of Customs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Customs House, Peshawar.
