ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) president Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif discussed the Supreme Court’s order to release PTI chief Imran Khan on Thursday (Today).
A local media outlet reported that Maulana Fazl expressed serious concerns to PM Shehbaz Sharif on Imran Khan’s release and shared possible protest strategies with him. They discussed the coalition government parties’ option for a unanimous protest in the current situation.

Moreover, the PM contacted the heads of other allied parties to discuss the political situation in the country. The meeting comes after the apex court ordered the release of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Thursday, declaring his arrest as ‘illegal’.
