ISLAMABAD: A tragic incident unfolded in Parachinar, Kurram District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, as unidentified assailants opened fire on a passenger bus traveling from Parachinar to Kohat.
The attack claimed the lives of at least four individuals, including a woman, while leaving three others injured.

The wounded passengers were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care. Unfortunately, this marks a recurring pattern of violence targeting passenger buses in the region, with recent incidents on December 30 and earlier causing injuries and fatalities.
The authorities are actively investigating these attacks to bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure the safety of public transport in the area.
