Fact Check: Trump Claims About Attacks During His Tenure

WASHINGTON: Former President Donald Trump had talked repeatedly regarding the terrorist assaults that occurred in the US on his watch during his presidency. CNN reported that he condemned these attacks in detail.

Throughout his 2024 presidential drive, former President Donald Trump has lied that there were zero attacks during his presidency.  Trump said at the rally in Pennsylvania that they didn’t have one terror attack during his administration.

Several sections of media said that Trump’s claim is totally false. There were numerous attacks during his presidency, including attacks in New York.

Also in 2017, an anti-Republican extremist assaulted Republican legislators and others who were practicing in Virginia for the annual charity congressional baseball match, shooting then-House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and three others. The chief prosecutor of the state has described the assaults as “an act of terrorism.”
