ISLAMABAD: Karachi Port Trust has said that Karachi port is safe and secure and termed Indian media reports about damage due to Indian aggression at Karachi port as fake and propaganda.
Local media cited Karachi Port Trust Official social media account as saying, “The account was hacked! Karachi Port is safe and secure!”
In a statement, Karachi Port Trust Official said that the account was hacked and termed Indian media reports as fake and propaganda. It said that the port is working as usual and there is no report of damage.
Fake news
Dawn News cited KPT’s spokesperson as saying, “Fake news was uploaded on the KPT’s official Twitter/X account by the Indians after hacking which we have deleted after recovering the account.”
Earlier, in a statement on X, Pakistan Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar said Indian media is spreading disinformation to craft a fake notion of success, after facing embarrassing losses during their unprovoked aggression.
Pakistan has not targeted any locations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, or across international border, so far. Neither has any loss been incurred by PAF.

The minister urged the international community to take note of the situation as Pakistan has only given defensive response so far.
