ISLAMABAD: Pakistani authorities have termed the notification circulating on social media regarding the closure of all petrol stations in the country’s capital Islamabad as fake. The social media account of DC, Islamabad issued an alert over the matter.
A fake notification has been circulating on different social media platforms falsely claiming that all petrol pumps within Islamabad will remain closed from 6am on Saturday 10th May 2025 for the next 48 hours.
Local media reported that all petrol pumps are working as usual in Islamabad and there are no reports of closure of pumps in Pakistan’s capital.
