ISLAMABAD: Lahore Police recently conducted a major crackdown on educational fraud which resulted in the discovery of a large facility developing counterfeit Punjab University degrees, stamp papers, and Lahore Development Authority (LDA) documents worth billions of rupees.

According to the reports, the facility was under the jurisdiction of the Ghaziabad Police Station.

However, the scope of the investigation was extended beyond the factory, as the authorities discovered the illegal production of counterfeit official documents and tickets worth millions of rupees. Among the confiscated items were scanners, photocopiers, and other devices used to develop forged public documents.

Authorities were able to arrest two people operating the factory under the identities of Sher Dil Khan and Tauqeer Ilyas. This is a significant victory in the fight against fraudulent activities that endanger the integrity of public papers and educational institutions.
