ISLAMABAD: Sports goods exports during the first 5 months of the fiscal year 2022-2023 surged by 29.36% as compared to the same period last year.
During the period, sports goods were worth 174,676,000 US dollars as compared to exports of 135,034,000 US dollars during the corresponding period last year.
The gloves’ exports soared by 2.72%, valued at 30,857,000 US dollars in the ongoing financial year as compared to the exports of 31,724,000 dollars in the corresponding period last year, the data released by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) showed.
Other exports
In the meantime, other exports also soared by 5.56% as the exports recorded during the ongoing financial year were 41,843,000 US dollars as compared to the exports worth 39,639,000 US dollars during the corresponding period last year.
