PESHAWAR: A blast in Peshawar has killed at least one person and wounded three others, local police said Thursday.

“The explosion took place after a bomb planted in a motorcycle detonated. We are gathering evidence and information on the nature of the explosion. Initial reports show that the explosion took place when the motorcycle was being mended,” the police official said.
As per media reports the blast occurred near a hotel on the Ring Road in Peshawar. The owner of the motorcycle in among the wounded, while one of the wounded is in critical condition, the police said.
Bomb disposal squad said in a statement that a 200-gram explosive device was used in the blast. The police said that the explosive device is often used in incidents involving family disputes.
