MOSCOW: An explosion at an explosives factory in Samara region of Russia, killed six people and wounded two others, Russian media reported on Friday.
According to Russian media the blast took place at the Promsintez factory in Chapayevsk. Six people were reportedly killed and two wounded in the explosion.

They said the explosion occurred during repair work in the factory. Reports said that Promsintez is one of the key producers of industrial explosives in Russia.
The firm employs more than 1,300 people and supplies the oil, gas and mining sector, its website said.
Earlier, four persons were killed in a blast at a gun company in the Tambov, Moscow.
Accidents at factories including fatal ones — are comparatively common in Russia.
Many companies have been running in Russia since the start of war in Ukraine.
