Exercise Anatolian Eagle-2023: PAF Contingent Lands Back Home

ISLAMABAD: The contingent of Pakistan Air Force returned home after successful participation in International Flight Tactical Exercise Anatolian Eagle-2023 held at Konya, Turkey, according the PAF officials.

Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Projects), Pakistan Air Force, Air Marshal Irfan Ahmad attended the closing ceremony of the exercise and appreciated the PAF contingent for making the exercise a great success with its efforts.

He also commended the PAF ground and air staff for the professional and smooth conduct of this important exercise which was intended at validating interoperability in the face of realistic modern air combat situations.

While talking with the combat officers he said, “The current security scenario globally coupled with the evolving dynamics of air warfare demands for more strengthened partnership between Pakistan and friendly nations. Regional and International strategic situation is undergoing profound changes with increasing complexity in the security environment and such exercises give an opportunity to enhance interoperability in mutual challenges”.

The Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Projects) applauded the Turkish Air Force on the completion of yet another successful international air exercise. He said that both air forces have a long history of enviable cordial ties and hoped that the exercise would certainly enable the combat crew of both air forces to learn from each other’s experiences in addition to promoting interoperability.

During the exercise, the adroit PAF pilots upheld their expertise and professionalism among the aircrew of the seven participating air forces including Turkey, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. The successful participation of the PAF ground and aircrew in the multinational air exercise is reflective of the sound foothold of operational training of PAF personnel in line with the latest developments in aerial warfare.
