ISLAMABAD: The State Bank of Pakistan on Tuesday announced that December 31, 2022, will be the last day to exchange obsolete bank notes with denominations of Rs. 10, 50, 100, and 1000.
The central bank advised the public to swap outdated currency notes before the deadline in a tweet in order to avoid their cancellation, according to State Bank of Pakistan. For the sake of the general public’s knowledge, the State Bank of Pakistan has also released designs of both the old and new banknotes for comparison. The State Bank of Pakistan offices will accept the notes for exchange until December 31, 2022, according to the central bank.
