WASHINGTON: Former top Clinton advisor Huma Abedin is set to marry the younger son of the biggest US billionaire George Soros. They have announced their engagement on social media, with Alex sharing an image of his marriage proposal.
Alex announced their engagement on Instagram stating, “this happened…we could not be happier, more grateful, or more in love.”
A source close to Abedin termed their relationship as “effortless,” saying, “After a lot of rowdy years for Huma, she’s relaxed, happy, and in love.”
Their engagement comes just months after Huma and Alex attended the 2024 Met Gala together. Abedin, disclosed their romance earlier this year in a Valentine’s Day post from Paris.
