ISLAMABAD: Sources said on Friday that another Afghan terrorist was killed during an operation of Pakistani security forces in Northwest Pakistan. Solid evidences suggest close collaboration and connection between the Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP) and the Afghan Taliban in cross-border terrorist attacks, primarily targeting innocent people in Pakistan, reliable sources added.
Sources said that Pakistani security forces eliminated eight terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Razmak, North Waziristan. Sources added that one terrorist was identified as Jalal son of Niam Ullah from Paktia province of Afghanistan. According to sources, another terrorist was identified as Shafiqullah son of Din Faraz. It added that Shafiqullah was associated with Fitna al-Khawarij outfit of Hafiz Gul Bahadar.
Sources said that the security forces have recovered a permit of arm singed by the authorities of interim government of Afghanistan. This suggests that Shafiqullah had complete freedom to carry arms in Afghanistan.
Commenting over the recent development, defense analysts said such undeniable evidences suggest that the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij are two sides of a same coin. Analysts said that the fresh evidences also provided a solid ground for the earlier evidences over the matter. Sources added that earlier irrefutable evidences suggested that the leader of Fitna al-Khawarij in Afghanistan are operating from Afghanistan.
Analysts said that killing of Afghan terrorists on Pakistani soil reveals the strong connection between Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij. Experts said that Pakistan had provided authentic evidences to the Afghan Interim Government several times, but Aghan Taliban did not take any action over the matter.
They said that Afghan Taliban are completely supporting Fitna al-Khawarij and making attempt to deceive the entire world. Analysts said that close collaboration between the TTP and the Afghan Taliban in cross-border terrorist attacks is a major threat for regional peace and stability.
Sources said that the Afghan Taliban have been fully facilitating, funding and supporting Fitna al-Khawarij to carry out terrorist attacks in Pakistan since the takeover of Afghanistan in 2021.
Pakistani officials said that Pakistan Army conducts various small and major operations against Fitna al-Khawarij, saying the Army has completely eliminated terrorism from the South Asian country. Source said that the remnants of Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP) fled to Afghanistan, where are living in safe hideouts.
