FONTANA: The Fontana Police Department has initiated an investigation to determine whether or not the American actor Evan Ellingson died from a drug overdose, Western media reported on Tuesday.
According to police there are chances that Evan Ellingson, 35, could have died from an overdose, as drug paraphernalia was found at his residence after his sudden death on Sunday.
If a toxicology report finds that drug was a factor for his death, police could launch an investigation to find out who provided Ellingson with the fatal dose.
The Fontana Police Department, investigating the case told media that all avenues are being considered.
Through the former child star’s death was not termed a homicide, the police department noted that this is normal procedure for all cases, not just Ellingson’s.
Ellingson best known for role as Jesse Fitzgerald in My Sister’s Keeper
The late star was best known for his role as Jesse Fitzgerald in the 2009 film My Sister’s Keeper.
Reportedly Evan Ellingson struggled with drug use in the past, but had overcome the problem.
The Fontana Police Department has confirmed to media the actor was found dead in his bedroom and there were no signs of foul play.
Ellingson also acted on CSI: Miami and Kyle Savage in Complete Savages portraying Kyle Harmon.
His did his first role in General Hospital in 2001 when he was just 13 years old. He performed last in 2010.
