Belarra said “Today we all are here accompanying all the people of our nation and also all those people throughout Europe who want to ask an end once and for all to this planned genocide and this ethnic cleansing of Palestinians that is being conducted by Israel,”.

As per media reports, tens of thousands of people took to the roads and streets in Spanish cities to express solidarity with the Palestinian people and called for an end to Israeli brutal attacks on civilian population in Gaza.

In Madrid, the authorities estimates that about 35,000 protesters attended the protest demonstrations, including several government ministers.

Yolanda Diaz, one of Spain’s deputy prime ministers, has also joined the march to express solidarity with the people of Palestine. “Today we are here to express solidarity with the victims of war crimes and demanding an immediate truce,” she said.
