ISLAMABAD: The CEO of Etisalat International Pakistan, Mr. Abdul Rehman Al Raheem Al Nooryani, met with the Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, today to discuss outstanding issues related to the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL).
The meeting was attended by SAPM on Revenue, Mr. Tariq Mehmood Pasha, Special Secretary of Finance, and senior officers from the Finance Division.
Senator Ishaq Dar welcomed Mr. Al Nooryani and emphasized the close and brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE.
Resolution of outstanding issues related to PTCL
During the meeting, both sides discussed and resolved to amicably settle all outstanding issues related to PTCL. The Finance Minister appreciated the constructive approach of Etisalat and emphasized the importance of resolving the issues to strengthen the economic ties between the two countries.
Mr. Al Nooryani expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to him and his team. He reiterated Etisalat’s commitment to supporting the growth and development of the telecommunications sector in Pakistan.
The successful outcome of the meeting is expected to pave the way for a stronger partnership between Pakistan and the UAE in the future.
