ISLAMABAD: Ethiopian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Misganu Arega, will visit Pakistan from May 9 to 11, according to a local news channel.
During his visit, the Ethiopian foreign minister will open the Ethiopian Embassy in Islamabad and inaugurate Ethiopian Airlines’ direct flights between Karachi and Addis Ababa.
Ethiopia’s MoS for Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Hina Rabbani Khar, is expected to open the Ethiopian Embassy in Islamabad.

Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and the Ethiopian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs will inaugurate Ethiopian Airlines’ direct flight operations.
The Ethiopian delegation includes Ministers of State for Science and Innovation, Trade and Regional Integration, and the business community.
According to the press release, the two sides will address a variety of bilateral matters of mutual interest during the visit, with a focus on trade and collaboration in science and technology.
The Ethiopian delegation’s visit is expected to give new momentum to the amicable relations between Ethiopia and Pakistan.
