DOHA: Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on Sunday met with the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is currently on a visit to Doha.
The Qatar News Agency reported that the meeting took place at Lusail Palace in the capital of Qatar.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed the greetings of President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, the Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to the Emir, wishing him happiness and good health.
The Emir conveyed his greetings to the leadership of the UAE, wishing them good health and the people of the UAE continued progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, the bilateral ties were discussed as well as ways to boost them, in addition to discussing a number of regional and global issues of common concern.
Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani was also present on the occasion.
