AHMEDABAD: Authorities are on high alert following a threat to “blow up” the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad, which is set to host several significant matches, including the Pakistan-India match scheduled for October 14 in the ongoing World Cup.

According to reports in the Indian media, Mumbai police have received an email warning about the potential attack on the stadium.

Police have increased security measures in Ahmedabad and are currently investigating the contents of the threatening email. It has been disclosed that the email was sent by a leader associated with the Khalistan Tehreek.

The stadium has garnered significant attention as Pakistan and India are slated to face off in a crucial World Cup match on October 14. Security preparations have been intensified in light of this threat.
