RAWALPINDI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted an operation that managed to bust a drug peddling racket involved in supplying drugs to the students of educational institutions and arrested two accused including a foreigner, ANF spokesperson said on Tuesday.
He informed that the accused involved in selling drugs near educational institutions were rounded up from E and F Sectors in Islamabad. Cocaine and ice were also seized from their possession during the operation.
ANF plans to extend the operation countrywide, with cases to be filed under the Anti-Narcotics Act. Collaboration with governmental and non-governmental stakeholders will be intensified to combat drug trafficking.
Furthermore, ANF urges citizens to aid in the fight against drugs by reporting any suspicious activity to helpline 1415 or through their social media channels. —APP
