ISLAMABAD: The caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwaarul Haq Kakar, has maintained that the Kashmir issue transcends geopolitics and underscores the dire situation of the approximately eight million inhabitants of the region who find themselves in what he describes as an open-air prison.
He conveyed this perspective during an interview with an international television channel.
While addressing the struggle of Kashmiris seeking accession to Pakistan, Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar, who belongs to Balochistan, highlighted that history has validated Balochistan’s decision to become a part of Pakistan. He emphasized that within Pakistan, Balochistan’s political and economic rights and representation have been safeguarded.

Following his appointment as the caretaker Prime Minister, Kakar took to Twitter, expressing his dedication to serving the people of Pakistan.
