Eid Shopping Reaches Its Peak in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

PESHAWAR: Eid shopping spree has reached to its peak in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, where a great rush of people was being observed in the outlets of bangles, Peshawari Chappal, readymade garments, and sweets.

As only a few days left in Eidul Fitar, all major and small markets of Peshawar including Qissa Khawani, Jhangirpura, cantonment, Karimpura, boards and university roads were flooded with people to buy dresses and especially traditional Peshawari Chappal for the Eid.  The citizens especially women were seen busy selecting choice garments and shoes for themselves and loved ones for Eid.

Eid Shopping in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

On Tuesday, shops of readymade garments, Peshawari chappal and bangles attracted a large number of customers including girls and youth in the provincial city bazars packed with a variety of local and imported shoes and garments as special Eid packages.

The stitched Kurata shirts and Salwar Kameez especially of lawn and cotton prints, varieties of bangles and Carsaadda and Peshawari Chappals have dominated the Peshawar’s fashion markets and shopping arcades.

After prices discounts on most locally made products especially clothes and Chappals in Peshawar as a special Eid offer, most of the locals of nearby districts including Swabi, Charsadda, Khyber, Kohat, Nowshera, Bajaur and Mohmand districts are arriving in Qissa Khwani, and adjoining markets to buy their favorite cotton prints, shows and Chappals.

Shalwar Kameez with Peshawari Chappal has widely been recognized as the symbol of culture and traditions in Pakistan especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where the majority of citizen prefer it on Eid.

Ahmad Shah said that he has purchased a set of Peshawari Chappals for himself to look different on the occasion of Eid.
