Eid Mela in Sui Unites Communities through Sports & Celebrations

SUI, Pakistan: An Eid festival, Eid Mela, was held here on Wednesday, bringing together people from various regions of Balochistan to celebrate Eid with enthusiasm and participate in a range of sporting events.

The grand event was organised by Member of the National Assembly Mian Khan Bugti and Chief of Mundrani, Wadera Muhammad Bakhsh Mundrani Bugti, in collaboration with the Frontier Corps.

Thousands of people participated in the event, making it one of the largest celebrations in the region. The festival featured a variety of traditional and exciting sports competitions, including horse racing, camel racing, slow motorcycle racing, and a shooting competition.

To recognise and reward the efforts of the participants, cash prizes—first prize Rs. 25,000, second prize Rs. 20,000 and third prize Rs. 15,000—were distributed among the winners.

The successful organisation of the Eid Mela was a source of great joy for the local community. It not only provided entertainment but also encouraged participation in sports, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and unity among the people.
