Egypt’s Scholar Sheikh Ahmed Karima Aspires to Win Nobel Peace Prize

CAIRO: Professor Scholar Sheikh Ahmed Karima of Al-Azhar University, Egypt hoped on Sunday that to win Nobel Peace Prize as efforts are underway to nominate him (Sheikh Ahmed Karima) for the prize.

Talking to Arab media, the professor said that many personalities outside of Egypt are making efforts to nominate his name for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Sheikh Ahmed Karima’s journey to Nobel Peace Prize

Sheikh Ahmed Karima is a professor at Al-Azhar University, Egypt, contributing to the field of comparative jurisprudence and Islamic law through his research. The professor told the media that he did a lot of research to bring together all Muslim schools of thought as well as he worked for the society.

He added that he has highlighted the issue of terrorism since 1996. The professor said that he wrote several books on the subject and also criticized militant groups. The scholar said that his area of work is behavioral violence and peace worldwide.

Professor Sheikh Ahmed Karima told Arab News that he also proposed to establish the Egyptian Center for World Peace to correct misconceptions attributed to religious matters.

The scholar surprises western propaganda

He recommended that the center should be associated with the presidency and cabinet in Egypt. Professor Karima said that he is making efforts to enhance and promote the culture of environmental protection at the international level.

The scholar concluded that he wished to win the Nobel Peace Prize to dedicate it to Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Egypt. He was surprised that several Western entities are negatively campaigning against his nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize.
