The four-day truce involves pause to war in Gaza
The four-day truce also involved a pause to war in Gaza and the entry of humanitarian aid for 2.4 million Palestinians in the besieged strip. Under the agreement 50 Israeli captives, including women and children would be released.
In return, 150 Palestinian political prisoners, including women and children, would be freed from Israeli detention. The agreement also gave a room for an extension and the release of more captives and prisoners.
