CAIRO: Several Egyptian political parties have announced their unwavering support for President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s candidacy in the upcoming presidential elections, expressing their commitment to his leadership and the nation’s stability.
The Free Egyptians Party, a liberal political group founded by businessman Naguib Sawiris in 2011, has launched a campaign endorsing El-Sisi as their preferred candidate for the presidency. The party’s decision was prompted by numerous appeals from public and societal figures to back El-Sisi for a new term. The party’s leadership has assured that their campaign will prioritize national security and uphold the country’s symbols.
Another secularist political party, the Conference Party, has formed a committee to facilitate partisan procedures for El-Sisi’s candidacy. This effort involves close coordination with various political and national forces that support El-Sisi’s potential presidential bid.
Egyptian Political Parties Support President El-Sisi
The Mostaqbal Watan Party, known for its pro-government stance, has also lent its full support to El-Sisi. The party emphasized its endorsement by stating, “We support President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s candidacy to run in the upcoming presidential elections to fulfil the aspirations of the people and to continue the path of giving.”
Homat Watan, yet another influential political group, announced its endorsement of El-Sisi in a formal statement. The Arab Democratic Nasserist Party, a significant national political entity, also pledged its support for El-Sisi’s candidacy.
Meanwhile, Egypt’s National Elections Authority, led by Walid Hamza, is actively preparing for the upcoming elections. Hamza confirmed that the electoral race schedule has been finalized and will be disclosed during a press conference following the completion of all logistical arrangements.
As the nation anticipates the forthcoming electoral campaign, the unity displayed among these political parties underscores their shared faith in El-Sisi’s leadership and vision for Egypt’s future.
