ECP Ensures Swift Delivery of Ballot Papers By Air

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has taken proactive measures to ensure the timely delivery of ballot papers for the upcoming general elections in specific regions of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The ECP spokesperson announced that ballot papers destined for areas like Gwadar, Panjgur, Kach, Kharan, Bajaur, and Kurram Agency will be transported by air, utilizing helicopters and C-130 planes for swift delivery.

Updating on the ballot paper printing progress, the spokesperson mentioned that printing has commenced for three National Assembly seats in the Federal Capital, with completion expected shortly. Notably, the printing of ballot papers for all constituencies in Balochistan has been successfully concluded.

The spokesperson disclosed that approximately 90 percent of ballot papers for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 80 percent for Punjab, and 60 percent for Sindh have also been printed. These strategic measures aim to streamline the election process, ensuring the availability of ballots in time for the upcoming polls.
