ISLAMABAD: Severe earthquake tremors were felt in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and its surrounding areas on Thursday morning.
The National Seismic Monitoring Centre reported 5.4 magnitude quake with epicenter in the Hindukash mountains. Moderate intensity quake tremors were reported in Mardan, Peshawar, Swat, Nowshera, and adjoining region in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Tremors were also reported in Lower Dir, Malakand, Mansehra districts and Hazara division in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Similarly, tremors felt in Sargodha, Lahore, Multan and Gujranwala.
