Earthquake Strikes Different Cities of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: An moderate earthquake of 5.7 magnitude struck several other cities in Pakistan, including Islamabad, Peshawar, and others, Wednesday.

According to details, the quake jolts were felt in Islamabad, Peshawar, Swat, and North Waziristan and also felt in Afghanistan’s Hindukush region.

The epicentre of the quake was traced to Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region and was recorded at a depth of 187km.

Tremors felt across Pakistan

The quake was felt across the region, and panicked people were seen gathered in open areas to wait for the jolts to subside.

The concerned authorities have issued a warning to the public to remain cautious and alert, as aftershocks may occur in the coming hours.

Rescue teams have been put on alert in case of any emergency.
