JEDDAH: Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hissein Brahim Taha and the Netherlands’ envoy to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) have held a meeting in Jeddah, Arab media reported on Thursday.

The two sides, discussed prospects for ties between the Netherlands and OIC and means to enhance cooperation and dialogue during the meeting, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

They also exchanged views on several issues of common concern, particularly the desecration of the Holy Quran, in light of the outcomes of the 18th special session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC, that was held on July 31.
