Dubai Academic Health Corp, Oxford University Partner for Leadership Development in Healthcare

DUBAI: Dubai Academic Health Corp. (DAHC), the first academic health system in Dubai, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Oxford University’s Saïd Business School to collaborate on executive education programs and research initiatives.

This partnership aims to enhance leadership capabilities and identify emerging leaders within the DAHC organization, as reported by Emirates News Agency on Monday.

Under the terms of the agreement, Oxford Saïd will play a vital role in strengthening leadership qualities and recognizing talented individuals across the DAHC system.

The collaboration aligns with the DAHC’s five-year strategic plan, which mainly focuses on developing programs to attract, nurture, and retain valuable healthcare professionals, administrators, clinical educators, and scientists.

Key areas of emphasis for the partnership include quality improvement, digital deployment and innovation, healthcare value development, and clinical governance.

By leveraging Oxford Saïd’s expertise, the DAHC aims to enhance its in-house leadership capacity and foster joint research projects.

Prof. Alawi Alsheikh-Ali, Chief Academic Officer of the DAHC, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “We are collaborating with one of the world’s top business schools to unlock the true potential of our team.
