Dry Spell to Continue in Most Parts of Pakistan Ahead of Eid

LAHORE: Mercury is increasing with every passing day and Met office forecasts dry and hot weather for the days to come. With high temperature, Eid shopping in day time remains slow. It has been observed that buyers’ throng to markets after sunset.

There are remote chances of rain ahead of Eid as Met office has predicted dry weather in most parts of Pakistan. Met office said that continental air was prevailing over many parts of the country.  Dust raising winds were expected in plain parts of country during afternoon. However, rain-wind thunderstorm was likely at few areas in Kashmir and surrounding regions.

Islamabad: 13 °C

Muzafarabad:  13°C

Lahore:      12 °C

Karachi:      12 °C

Peshawar:  16 °C

Quetta:       10 °C

Murree:      10 °C

Gilgit:           8 °C

According to weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and wind with thunderstorm is likely in Srinagar, Shopian and Pulwama partly cloudy and dry weather in Leh, Baramula, and Anantnag while dry weather in Jammu.

Temperature recorded this morning:

Srinagar, Baramula and Pulwama Anantnag eight degree centigrade, Jammu eighteen, Shopian seven and Leh zero degree centigrade.
