BEIRUT: Israeli drones on Saturday fired 3 missiles at a site in Jabal Safi in Lebanon’s Iqlim Al-Tuffah area, around 20 km from the border, Arab News reported.

As per media reports, it was a second violation of Lebanese airspace by Israeli military in the last 21 days amid increasing tensions with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon against the backdrop of the war in Gaza.

The new exchange of fire came following the Israeli military said that it is “targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in Lebanon”.  According to Arab News, Israeli reconnaissance airplane flew over the southern border region at medium height.
