One of the wounded was hit with live ammunition in the foot, 3 others were shot by rubber bullets, and 185 people were hit by tear gas, according to the Palestinian NGO.

Eyewitnesses in the camp said that hours-long clashes started after the Israeli military stormed the camp to demolish the house of Abdel Fattah Kharousha, who was killed in March by the Israeli army after killing 2 Israeli settlers in February.

On 7 March, an Israeli military raid in Jenin resulted in the killing of 6 Palestinians, including Kharousha.
