DUBLIN: The Saudi envoy to Ireland, Niall bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, has participated, along with the ambassadors of Arab nations accredited to Ireland, in the meeting held on Friday with the Speaker of the Irish Parliament, Seán Ó Fearghaíl, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
According to the SPA, the diplomats discussed with Speaker the Israeli aggression against Gaza, calling on Ireland to contribute to the world by working to halt military operations immediately, provide civil safety, release prisoners and hostages, and prevent the forced displacement of the Palestinians in compliance with international laws, norms and common humanitarian principles.

The ambassadors of Arab nations stressed the significance of enabling the delivery of aid and immediate medical equipment without restrictions and in a sustainable way to mitigate the humanitarian crisis that has claimed the lives of innocent people, including women and children and which portends grave consequences for stability and security in the region and the world.
